Top-selling industry-leading home-style magazine, House Beautiful, has awarded Sliderobes top honours for its 2009 creative advertising campaign.
In the prestigious House Beautiful Awards 2009, presented on 26th November in London, Sliderobes was recognised for its stylish advertisements and the resonance they have with readers.
Sliderobes specialises in attractive bespoke fitted bedroom furniture, designed around each customer’s individual needs and style preferences.
Sliderobes’ managing director, Richard McMullan, said, “Few of us have the space that we need these days. Clutter is a universal problem that afflicts everyone from families to empty nesters. Sorting it gobbles up time, let alone the fact that clutter ruins the look of carefully designed and coordinated rooms.”
Sliderobes’ advertising focuses on tackling that problem once and for all, creating useable space where previously there was none.
Richard explained, “The messaging in our advertising is simple. Clutter is a problem we all face, and the answer is here with Sliderobes. The sooner we tackle it, the sooner we can get on with the important things in life. Some of the ads focus on the sheer joy of achieving that, with a solution that is stylish and at the same time, very practical.
“We’ve aimed for a clean and tidy look to our advertising, and very succinct text that has an emotional pull that resonates with readers,” he added.
Sliderobes has seen a 40 percent growth in turnover in the UK alone in the last year. It currently has 23 showrooms across the UK and Republic of Ireland, with plans to open in more locations in 2010.
