If you live in an older house, you’ll know that your eyes can deceive you. What looks like a level floor, a right angled corner or a flat wall, can be anything but.
With conventional free-standing furniture, the problems become all too apparent. Your chest of drawers leans away from the wall, the hangers in your wardrobe veer off downhill!
If, like most people, you need to make the best use of space, free standing furniture isn’t usually the answer. Inevitably, you’ll lose space, particularly if you have sloping ceilings, protruding chimney breasts or angled walls.
It’s a problem that we take in our stride at Sliderobes. Fitting into awkward spaces is business as usual for us.
In fact, we’re equally at home fitting our craftsman-built wardrobes into the most bijou city flat, as in the more characterful stone-built cottage. The oldest house we’ve fitted in locally was built in 1636, so you can see we’re always up to a challenge!
At Sliderobes, when we say “made to measure”, that’s exactly what we mean. Once you’ve visited our showroom and seen the beautiful range of interiors and door finishes we have on offer, we’ll come round at a time to suit you to measure up.
Phil Beesley, who runs the Sliderobes showroom in Birstall, is fully committed to providing workmanship of the highest quality. “We want everything to be perfect first time. Our specially-trained craftsmen check each Sliderobe at every step of the manufacturing and fitting process to ensure that everything is just as it should be,” he said.
“Installation is normally completed within one day, and we’ll always leave your room looking spick and span afterwards, so you can start moving your clothes into their new home straight away,” he added.
Problem solved!
