At Sliderobes, as experts in bespoke storage, we were intrigued by research from Mintel that paints a worrying picture of a rising tide of clutter in homes. It appears that there are four responses – “space concerned”, “apathetic”, “hoarder” and “regular sorter”.

The “space concerned” - 28 percent of us - worry about clutter. Similar numbers regularly clear it out. One in four admits to hoarding. As for the “apathetic”, they struggled to summon the energy to answer the questions!

It seems clutter occupies more time and energy than it should. (At Sliderobes we think about it all the time, but that’s our job!)
