Sliderobes is a specialist in fitted sliding wardrobe doors and storage, and was founded in 1983 by our current Chairman, after the huge potential market for fitted wardrobes in Ireland was identified. Operations began successfully in Dublin in 1983, with a second Sliderobes showroom opening in Belfast some months later to provide customers with fitted wardrobes across the whole of Ireland.
Sliderobes began the process of franchising our operations in 1999 and, working with some of the UKs leading specialists in franchising, developed the franchise proposition, and support systems necessary for a successful franchise operation of sliding wardrobe door companies. The key tenet of this development process was to make sure that the Sliderobes franchise proposition was ‘best-in-class’ from day one and that it complied with all requirements, codes and ethics of both the Irish and British Franchise Associations. Alongside growing through franchising operations, Sliderobes continues to own and operate a growing network of owned showroom and factory operations.
